Outstanding Senior and President for the Day
My reason for choosing AU is insignificant compared to all that has caused me to stay,” explained Anastasia Campbell. At the time when she was considering colleges, one of Anastasia’s family members, who was graduating from AU, spoke highly of the university. Anastasia also loved the school’s regal colors and had received a promising financial aid package. But what kept her here was the support her friends, professors, and counselors gave her and the innumerable resources available.
Fascinated with the fields of criminal justice and public law, Anastasia will earn her degree in May 2020. She would ultimately like to attend law school and work as a youth advocate.
As an undergrad, Anastasia has taken advantage of the many jobs, clubs and volunteering opportunities open to students. She is the personnel director at the Institute for Cultural Unity, a resident assistant and a student ambassador. Some of her favorite experiences in various organizations and clubs include her time with Art Force Five as well as her roles as President of Caribbean Student Association, Vice President of Sister Circle and Treasurer of the Criminal Justice Club.
Anastasia was also selected to be President for a Day her sophomore year and is also one of two Marlin Miller Outstanding Senior award winners for class year 2020.
